DJ Wyldflower reached out for me to recap her SXSW Music Festival set at the DAWA Heals event. Wyldflower took the stage before the show, and in between other artists performances to keep the crowd excitement up.

DJ Wyldflower is a well-known and well-loved DJ in Austin, Texas. Formally known as Cierra, DJ Wyldflower has developed a community within Austin through the love of music by hosting weekly Sunday Sessions where she plays music in the park as a big meet-up each Sunday.
When capturing DJ Wyldflower for SXSW, I wanted to collect more intimate shots of her performing her craft. The venue was small and low-lit. This worked well when capturing more shadows and contrast in the edit.
